Justin Bieber Breaks His Foot and Lives to Tweet About It

Justin Bieber http://tweetphoto.com/tvsfavan

At age 15, Justin Bieber is so young his mom probably still kisses his boo-boos to make them feel better.

She might need to get to work—the pop star-in-training broke his foot yesterday.

The Usher protégé had the distinguished honor of opening for Taylor Swift at England's Wembley Arena, but something went awry as he finished up his set with his hit single, "One Time."

No, Kanye West didn't interrupt. Justin stumbled. And like any good celebrity on the rise, he twittered about the whole thing.

Taylor Swift Tops Even Michael Jackson at American Music Awards

Loading...

Kanye West might have a problem with it, but this is definitely Taylor Swift's year.

The 19-year-old twanger pocketed a leading five prizes, including the biggest, Artist of the Year, at Sunday's American Music Awards, while Michael Jackson made some history from beyond the grave.

The late King of Pop won four posthumous awards—including Favorite Pop/Rock Artist and Pop/Rock Album for his 2003 greatest-hits set, Number Ones—bringing his AMA career total to 25.

In a night when neither of the top winners was present (Jackson for obvious reasons; Swift was in London rehearsing for a show at Wembley Arena), the Los Angeles cemerony was marked by a couple of outrageous performances (thank you, Adam Lambert and Lady Gaga) and welcome comebacks by Rihanna and Whitney Houston. But in the end, the ghost of Jackson was the night's most compelling presence.

"We love you, Michael," said a sequin-glove-sporting Jermaine Jackson, who accepted the honor on his brother's behalf. "It's not just about the winnings, the awards, it's mainly the message. The message that Michael had will live on forever...and he saw good in everyone and he wanted them to do good.  To start with love and let's love each other."

Sister Janet kicked things off with a medley of her hits. Even Swift, who accepted her Artist of the Year award (without interruption) live via satellite, paid tribute to Michael, who she beat.

Let's hear it for romance!

Read up on how Taylor Swift turned heartache into four pointy crystal trophies—and on everything else of note that happened this week—right here:

Wynonna Judd Schools Kanye West on Swifty Apologies

For all the love Taylor Swift receives from the music industry and elsewhere, she has a rather vocal handful of detractors.

Kanye West's giant diss was the talk of the CMA Awards Wednesday night, but he wasn't the only person who questioned the starlet's success.

"It's too much too soon," Wynonna Judd told USA Today of Swift's numerous nominations, especially the one for Entertainer of the Year (which she won, along with three other gongs). "Time is God’s way of keeping everything from happening at once. It’s just too much of a good thing too soon."

But comparisons of the hip-hopper and country star's comments end there.

Judd didn't blog an all-caps opus of a disingenuous apology, delete it and try again. And we're guessing she won't be appearing on a talk show crying and announcing a break from the spotlight.

Instead, she wrote a short and sweet note on her website.

"I understand that my comment about Taylor Swift's Entertainer of the Year nomination came across as a negative statement," she says. "My intent was not to take anything away from her talent and contributions to the country music industry...all of which are truly unprecedented for an artist of ANY age. Taylor is a beautiful, hard working young woman that deserves the success she has had and I support her as an artist and as a woman in the business."

Yeezy, are you paying attention?

At first glance, it sure looked like Glee's Rachel and Kurt picked the wrong night to do a diva-off against Taylor Swift.

Just days after Swift led Saturday Night Live to its best ratings of the season, the singing sensation helped the Country Music Association Awards to its biggest audience in four years.

The ABC telecast, featuring big wins by Swift, Swift, Swift and Swift, averaged nearly 17 million viewers, easily winning Wednesday's prime-time race.

So, was it curtains for Glee, after all?

Did Carrie Underwood Pull a Kanye at the CMA Awards?

Loading...

Taylor Swift was already off the stage when it happened, but...

Did Carrie Underwood try to steal some of her thunder at the 43rd Annual CMA Awards?

"How 'bout that?" marveled cohost Brad Paisley after Swift accepted the night's top honor, Entertainer of the Year. "Nineteen years old...Congratulations, Taylor. What a night. I can't even imagine a better—"

"And how were we? We were awesome!" interrupted Underwood, who sang and changed clothes 10 times, but lost out to the 19-year-old Swift for Female Vocalist of the Year.

And the show pretty much ended with that.

Remember when Faith Hill had to defend the so-called ticked-off look on her face when Underwood beat her out for the same award back in 2006?

Is this like that, or did the intentional hilarity of the moment get lost in translation?

Taylor Swift Topples Carrie and Kenny for Best in Show at CMA Awards

When you're 19 and a whole association tells you they love you, you ought to believe them.

A certain awkward moment Taylor Swift had at the 2009 VMAs turned into a distant memory when she finally got some time to herself at the 43rd Annual Country Music Association Awards, some of which came at the end of the night when she unseated four-time winner Kenny Chesney for Entertainer of the Year honors.

"I will never forget this moment because, in this moment, everything I have ever wanted has just happened to me," an emotional Swift, the first woman to win the award since Shania Twain in 1999, said before inviting the members of her band onstage to share the spotlight with her.

And all that Joe Jonas heartbreak turned out to be worth it, because her spunky sophomore effort Fearless, rife with breakup tunes, was named Album of the Year.

Twilight, True Blood, Taylor Swift Suck Up People's Choice Nominations

New Moon, Robert Pattinson, Kristen Stewart Summit Entertainment

The People's Choice Awards are getting ready to throw a vampire party of their own.

In a surprise to no one, least of all millions of screaming fanggirls, Twilight leads the list of honorees for the 36th Annual PCAs, scoring six nominations, including Favorite Movie (a shoo-in if ever there was one) as well as individual nods for Robert Pattinson, Kristen Stewart and Taylor Lautner.

Together, the trio is up for Favorite On-Screen Team, while Pattinson and Stewart also earned nods for Favorite Movie Actor and Actress, respectively.

Meanwhile, Anna Paquin's more mature vampfest True Blood is up for three nominations, including Favorite TV Obsession and Favorite TV Drama Actress for Paquin herself. Rounding out the bloodsucking trifecta, The Vampire Diaries also scored two nods, one of which—Favorite TV Sci-Fi/Fantasy—pits it against the HBO show. Get ready for a bloodbath.

As for other nominees, as no awards show is complete without her, Taylor Swift also scored three nominations, including Favorite Female Artist, while Miley Cyrus earned two.

Rounding out the boldfaced names up for awards are perennial faves Hugh Laurie, Brad Pitt, Sandra Bullock, Hugh Jackman, Chris Pine, Blake Lively, Jennifer Aniston, Britney Spears, Adam Lambert, Carrie Underwood, Beyoncé, Susan Boyle, Alec Baldwin, Tina Fey, Steve Carell, Matthew Fox and E!'s own Chelsea Handler, whose Chelsea Lately laughfest scored a nomination for Favorite TV Talk Show.

Taylor Swift Sweetly Skewers Kanye, Kate Gosselin, Joe Jonas on SNL

Not since the days of Will Ferrell and Tina Fey has Saturday Night Live been able to deliver a full hour and a half of laughs, but leave it to Hollywood's golden girl to change all that.

Taylor Swift played host and musical guest of the season's best SNL, and the country-crossover sensation did so with grace and dignity by not mentioning all of the things we were dying to hear—well, sort of.

Swift wrote a little ditty to kick off the show called "Monologue Song (La, La, La)," in which she serenades the world by discussing the things she would not be...discussing.

Like little ol' Kanyegate, perhaps? "You might be expecting me to say something bad about Kanye [West]," crooned Swift. "But there's nothing more to say because everything's OK / I've got security lining the stage," the songstress teased as Bill Hader and Jason Sudeikis joined her side.

And Joe Jonas got it even worse. "You might think I'd bring up Joe / That guy who broke up with me on the phone / But I'm not gonna mention him in my monologue," Swift continued. "Joe, I'm doing real well / Tonight I'm hosting SNL!"

Plus, Swift all but confirmed her status with rumored love Taylor Lautner, singing: "If you're wondering if I might be dating the werewolf from Twilight." She then stopped to wave at the camera and mouthed, "Hi, Taylor," and blew him a kiss.

Outside the tween realm, watch Swift take on the ultimate role: rocking a Kate Gosselin wig in the View sketch.

Taylor Swift Owes Kanye West a Thank-You!

Hey, we've got an opening monologue for Taylor Swift.

"Hi, I'm Taylor Swift, as you know," the teen titan could start off with on tomorrow's Saturday Night Live. "And I'd like to thank Kanye West for helping you know that."

OK, so the lines aren't funny. But they are true.

The SNL gig—as host and musical guest? The honor of being the first female country performer to pull that desirable double duty since Dolly Parton more than 20 years ago? The album that's been out forever and is back climbing the charts?

Yup, somebody owes Mr. West a muffin basket.

The Kanye Jokes Starting on Taylor Swift's SNL

The Kanye West jokes have already started over at Saturday Night Live in a preview for this weekend's Taylor Swift-hosted episode.

Who saw that coming?

OK, we all did. But one thing we didn't expect was a testicle joke—not around America's favorite country sweetheart, anyway.

On Monday T.Swift tweeted: "Starting the SNL process. I kinda feel like I might have a heart attack or pass out in the pitch meeting. I'm that excited."

We have to admit, we're kinda excited, too. Not necessarily heart attack excited, but as long as there aren't too many more Kanye jokes, there's definitely a sorta-looking-forward-to-it/please-don’t-suck feeling happening.

Taylor Not So Swift on Her Feet After Ellen's Spookapalooza

Why in the world would anyone want to take down Taylor Swift?

For a good laugh, of course! It was a week of silly scares on The Ellen DeGeneres Show, and the leading lady pulled out all the Halloween stops to spook the stars who stopped by—the most memorable being America's sweetheart.

Setting up a hidden-camera-filled, fake green room for guests, Ellen hid in the bathroom and jumped out at the unsuspecting celebs. Poor Taylor was beyond terrified and after letting out an adorable screech (as only Taylor could do), she ended up facedown on the floor.

Check out Ellen's other freaked-out folks below, including David Spade, Lauren Graham and Mario Lopez—plus a chivalrous late-night talk show host who comes to the funnylady's rescue.
