Is Anna Getting Busy on V?
The Visitors are leaving for a while. (You know what they say about guests and fish stinking after three days.) Tonight is the last new episode of V's premiere pod of episodes, and it's a doozy. There are major reveals about the future (think circle-of-life type stuff), someone gets tortured to death, we learn more about the so-called "fifth column," we learn that the Vs are out to get us using a method that would make Bill Maher nod and go "Toldya!," and, oh yeah, Lisa (Laura Vandervoort) brings Tyler (Logan Huffman) home to meet her "mother." Eek!
What's to come after all of tonight's alien madness is said and done? We caught up with superfoxy alien babe Morena Baccarin for an exclusive chat, and she hinted that things (maybe even big romantic things) are heating up for Anna. Here's what we learned:
Tuesday Time-Slot Hell: Glee Versus Lost
OK, so apparently, all the TV networks simultaneously noticed Tuesday nights have been a bit of a dead zone in terms of hipster TV. Yes, CBS has lots of high-rated shows that night, and FX has had Sons of Anarchy, and ABC is trying its darnedest with V, but compared to the utter gridlock of Mondays and Thursdays, Tuesday TV has been blissfully low-stress when it comes to must-see shows.
No more. Fox just released its 2010 TV schedule and it has placed Glee's new episodes (which premiere April 13) on Tuesday at 9 p.m. Unfortunately, Tuesdays at 9 p.m. just so happen to be when ABC is putting the final season of Lost. Not to mention there are already plenty of Melrose Place, NCIS: L.A. and The Biggest Loser fans out of there, and their faves all already air at that time.
Brutal, man. Our house has four DVRs total, so we can probably survive this without picking up a third dual-tuner TiVo at Best Buy, but most people don't have such a gluttonous appetite for TV. Therefore: Choices must be made.

Dancing With the Stars' Mya: What She'd Do With the Disco Ball Trophy
What does one do after spending about 14 weeks working on Dancing With the Stars?
Get some much needed rest.
"I definitely need a break to allow my ankle to heal properly for about a couple of weeks," Mya told me earlier today during a break from rehearsing tonight's finale.
Mya and partner Dmitry Chaplin proved last night why they are this season's best dancers. They nabbed two perfect scores for their paso doble and the megamix, and a 27 for their Hairspray freestyle.
And Mya is also fun to talk to—no matter how tired she may be. I'm going to miss waking up to her voice every Tuesday morning. Read on for the last of our exclusive weekly chats.

Goodbye or Good Riddance to Jon & Kate Plus 8?
Are you glad Jon & Kate Plus 8 is over? Did you watch Jennifer Lopez fall, or see Adam Lambert get a rise out of the crowd? And why do you suddenly care about Katie Couric?
The answers—and more questions, about Project Runway, Sarah Palin and more—in the latest TV ratings quiz:
1. So, was it goodbye or good riddance to Jon & Kate Plus 8? It sure didn't seem like the show wore out its welcome. Last night's series finale was well-attended, attracting 4.3 million viewers, TLC said, up 2 million from last week's penultimate episode. When all was said and done and repeated in the tabloids, the show remained a ratings winner, if not the scandal-boosted phenomenon of earlier in the season.

End of a Weird Era: Jon & Kate Plus 8 Signs Off
Kate Gosselin never wanted it to be this way. But since it is this way...
Having to shut down its cash cow thanks to Jon Gosselin's gripes, TLC made sure that its litigious former star ended up looking like the greater of two evils on Monday's series finale of Jon & Kate Plus 8.
"They don't know about girlfriends at all," Kate said, referring pointedly to her kids' knowledge of Jon's off-and-on significant other, Hailey Glassman.
"That's just too warped for them, too unhealthy for them to know. They're learning at this age by watching us what it's like to be an adult, and that's the last thing I want them to know. But I really just think that relationship is a situation that's just a symptom of the real issue, so…I don't envision a future there involving my kids at all."
Zing!
So while Jon talked about doing what he has to do to be friends with Kate, be a good dad and maintain his relationship with Hailey, his estranged wife was busy nipping that last part in the bud.
When they weren't busy repeating themselves for the cameras, Kate took six of the kids to an organic farm, where they petted kittens and milked cows, and everything was wholesome and lovely! Meanwhile, even raising money for firefighters, Jon just couldn't win.

Modern Family: Is Shakira Getting In On the Act?

She and her hips are wanted over at ABC's new hit comedy Modern Family.

Bachelorette's Chris Harrison Schools Joel McHale
Love can be a terrible thing to waste. Unless, of course, when it goes horribly wrong and can be repurposed into cheap yet satisfying entertainment.
And speaking of cheap yet satisfying, you won't want to miss tonight's Soup special, Love and Other Burning Sensations, as Joel "The Passion Master" McHale takes you on a guided tour through the worst (and therefore the best) moments in TV love gone wrong.
Including a taste of heartless Bachelorette host Chris Harrison, who took time away from whatever he does when The Bachelorette isn't on to shame and abuse McHale, live and in person.
Remember, you can catch more pain tonight at 10 p.m. ET/PT!

TLC Lets the Door Hit Jon (Not So Much Kate) on the Way Out
At this point, there's almost nothing we don't already know about Jon and Kate Gosselin.
He likes Ed Hardy, ticking every box off the midlife crisis checklist and demanding privacy from the paparazzi, unless of course they want to patronize his lemonade stand or capture him bringing flowers to his ex-wife. His dislikes include spell-check and Nancy Grace.
She, on the other hand, enjoys employing ghost writers to pen cookbooks on organic food, berating her personality-challenged husband and recouping hundreds of thousands of dollars that were rightfully hers to begin with. She's not such a fan of anything less than industrial-strength pomade.
This much we know.
But TLC is reminding us of a few other Gosselin truths that have gotten lost along the way in the torn-apart family's reality swan song, as Jon & Kate Plus 8 comes to its confessional- and montage-filled series end tonight.
Like, no matter how heinous you think their parents are—and at this point it is just a matter of degrees—those Plus 8 are downright adorable (and, lest we forget, the reason viewers flocked in the first place).
Adam Lambert: For Your Entertainment—or His?
Adam Lambert is fully embracing his new solo career—as well as his keyboard player, too.
The American Idol runner-up gave the final performance at the 2009 American Music Awards, and he delivered much of what earlier outings by Janet Jackson, Carrie Underwood, Rihanna, Jennifer Lopez, Shakira, Lady Gaga and others had: lots of back-up dancers, a stumble or two and just a bit of raunchiness.
OK, in Lambert's case, there was more than a bit of racy material as he mixed together a so-so song, some S&M imagery and a bit of simulated sex. Oh, and that juicy midsong kiss, too.
For your entertainment, of course. Was it enough to make his performance the best of the evening?
