Is Atlanta Housewife Kim Zolciak More Desperate Than Real?

Celeb Addictionary Icon

First Anne Heche made headlines for herself by dumping Steve Martin for Ellen DeGeneres. Then Lindsay Lohan gave a more halfhearted attempt at celebrity bisexuality by flaunting her are-they-or-aren't-they-dating relationship with Samantha Ronson.

Now Atlanta Housewife Kim Zolciak is tardy to the party by reportedly dating lesbian DJ Tracy Young.

As E! Online reader anything for attention pointed out, beard and merkin are common slang for those who date closeted stars, but whaddya call this recent trend of going gay for fame?

Move over, Kim Zolciak!

There's another Real Housewife trying to warble her way into the music biz.

LuAnn de Lesseps of The Real Housewives of New York City has written and recorded "Money Can't Buy Class," a dance ditty inspired by her memoir/etiquette book Class With the Countess.

Fortunately, the countess isn't taking this singing thing too seriously. "I'm not trying to be Madonna, but I love to sing, and I can sing," she tell us. "I sing all the time for my friends."

She does have a superstar in mind for a future collaboration...

How Much Are Real Housewives Really Paid?

More from Ask the Answer Bitch

How much are the Real Housewives paid per episode? I get the feeling that they couldn't afford the lifestyle they portray if it weren't for the salary and perks provided by Bravo.
—David N. via the Answer B!tch inbox

As hard up as some of the ladies appear to be—what with NeNe Leakes and Kim Zolciak of The Real Housewives of Atlanta apparently demanding more cash for electric bills, clothes and such—overall, weep not. For the Real Housewives of Anywhere.

According to my sources, there are some seriously pitiful reality show paychecks out there, but the ones given to the Housewives aren't among them.

Check out the numbers:

Tameka Raymond Sets the Record Straight on Real Housewives Rumors

What would The Real Housewives of Atlanta be like without Nene or Kim?

Well, it's possible we may find out. Though a rep for the series tells us that "no decisions have been made yet for season three," there are reports that producers may be replacing one or both of them for the upcoming season.

So who would be cast?

Well, we can tell you that one rumor is most definitely not true. Usher's ex-wife, Tameka Foster, will not be joining the Atlanta cast.

Tameka herself tells us exclusively:

Family Wants Second Autopsy for Real Housewife Kandi Burruss' Slain Fiancé

Kandi Burruss, Ashley Jewell Prince Williams/Getty Images

To get at the truth, the family of Kandi Burruss's late fiancé is looking to raise the dead.

A.J. Jewell did not have sickle-cell anemia, according to a spokesman for Jewell's relatives, who have requested that a second autopsy be performed by a private coroner to clear up any inconsistencies surrounding his death last month from a head injury sustained in a fight outside an Atlanta strip club.

Results are expected in about two weeks. The Real Housewives of Atlanta fixture was laid to rest over a month ago.

The Fulton County medical examiner ruled Jewell's death a homicide, and the other guy in the fight, Frederick Richardson, has been charged with voluntary manslaughter.

But Jewell's family disagrees with the finding that sickle-cell anemia aggravated his injuries.

Real Housewives Death Declared a Homicide

Kandi Burruss, Ashley Jewell Prince Williams/Getty Images

A.J. Jewell's death may have been an accident, but it was a preventable one.

The death of the former fiancé of Real Housewives of Atlanta's Kandi Burruss has been declared a homicide by Georgia's Fulton County medical examiner's office, which confirmed earlier speculation that the street fight Jewell got into on the night of his death was exacerbated by his sickle-cell anemia.

"Although Mr. Jewell died of complications of his underlying natural disease conditions, the complications would not have occurred if he had not experienced the extreme exertion that was part of the physical altercation," stated the report, obtained by the Atlanta Journal Constitution.

"Due to the active involvement of another person, the manner of death is classified as a homicide."

But if you think the report brought any sense of closure to Jewell's still-grieving family, well, think again.

Bethenny Frankel Blogs About Real Housewives of Atlanta: Kim "Is Certifiable and I Love It!"

I was half-asleep during the reunion last night. It was so boring I flipped through an issue of Field and Stream for some excitement. First of all, to say fashion disaster would be a gross understatement. I don't understand what the hell was going on with the outfits and the set decor. It really was quite confusing.

Sheree, Sheree, Sheree...How could you rock Dolce & Gabbana when an entire season built up to your fashion event? Big mistake. Huge. As I said before, she likes fashion, but a businesswoman she ain't. At least Lisa was wise enough to market her wares.

Kandi wears the wild outfits and rock 'n' roll hair, but she can get away with anything because she is in the music Biz.

The best parts of the show were the flashbacks to the season's best moments. In my life, I've never loved a scene more than the Sheree party-planner smackdown. Her face literally became distorted. I could watch it for days. I love when she said she could find a pookie or two in her phone book. I can't help but love Sheree, the narcissist.

Trouble Keeping Up With FlashForward? Nope

John Cho, Joseph Fiennes, FlashForward ABC/CRAIG SJODIN

FlashForward, The Vampire Diaries and The Real Housewives of Atlanta don't have a thing in common. Except that they do.

We'll find out what as we play good week, bad week in the latest TV ratings quiz:

1. Was it a good or bad week for…FlashForward? Good week. ABC got to brag that the Thursday night series is TV's most DVR'd freshman, packing on nearly 2 million viewers over the course of a week. In the latest Nielsen rankings, the show finished 29th, with a 9.9 million viewers (and counting).

2. The Vampire Diaries? It got picked up for the rest of the season, its reruns are going to replace Melrose Place's on Wednesdays, and its Thursday night rerun last week outdrew all-new episodes of 90210 and Dollhouse, so, yeah, the CW show's good.

3. …Housewives of Atlanta? Good week. Sorry, make that great week.

Bethenny Frankel Blogs About The Real Housewives of Atlanta: "All Hell's Gonna Break Loose"

Sheree and Kim are hanging out? Wow, we Housewives are resilient. I must say, as Andy Cohen would put it, Kim and Sheree had some serious hair systems going on. It does look great though. The weaves and wigs are literally characters in this show, to be pulled, complimented, fought over and sold.

The whole Nene and Mel father storyline is compelling. It's nice to see her calm for a while. Normal isn't always bad. I love how Nene said that house in Athens used to be a mansion. Isn't that a mansion now?

I waited with bated breath for the episodic, narcissistic Sheree line, and this time it came like clockwork: "I made my samples to fit me because I'm the perfect model." She's the best, and I still love her. Why does she say Dwight's name with two syllables: De-wight?

Who doesn't love Kandi? Premarital counseling. Yikes. His death is tragic, so it really is difficult to discuss his six children from four mothers. She'll never get to experience that difficulty, but like any marriage, it would have been difficult. It does always go back to the money. That is the core issue here. When mama said "child support" as her word, I gasped.
